With its Japanese-inspired touch of luxury, contemporary design and signature amenitied, Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel's virtual tour is one that we were excited to capture. 

When we were engaged to take on the project, we wanted to show how its connectivity and comfort can be expressed from a refreshing new perspective. 

Dawn of the 360°

The first image marks the first impression for the virtual tour. Needless to say, it had to be spectacular. While we were initially informed that the sunset would be the best time to capture the building facade, our team did our aerial photography both during sunset and sunrise. 

At the break of dawn, the sun casted a warm, golden glow upon the Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel, immediately distinguishing it from every other building in the concrete jungle. It brought out the highways, MRT station, surrounding neighbourhoods and amenities, which made it easier for us to add aerial labelling to indicate connectivity. 

That ephemeral moment was so breathtaking, and we only had a few minutes to capture everything we wanted.

And it was just what we needed to present the story of Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel. 

Marriott Magic in Every Frame

We wanted the virtual tour to encapsulate the 5-star luxury experience that one can expect at the hotel. Being part of the Marriott family, it also holds itself to a standard of excellence that resonates throughout its structure. 

From the grandiose reception to the sumptuous spaces and elegant eateries, we worked with their professional team to ensure that every detail is carefully presented to reflects its five-star hospitality. 

Go through the virtual spaces and you can spot a Japanese itamae slicing sashimi in Miyabi, a bartender shaking up a martini in Sala Bar, and chefs cooking up a storm at Feast during the breakfast buffet. This approach brings a tangible and relatable human element to the virtual tour.

All our panoramas are captured using 11K ground and aerial photography. To make the navigation smooth and user-friendly, we selected the best angles that tell the entire story in one shot, so that viewers would not need to click too many times to see the next space. 

To highlight the different set-ups and lighting that are available at Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel, we added a hotspot that can switch between modes within the grand ballroom. Click to see it in the Classroom and Dinner Setting, each in its own unique atmosphere. You can also get a glimpse of the different meeting rooms by seeing the normal photos incorporated in the 3D space. 

Our virtual tour is essentially not just about seeing the hotel amenities; it is about experiencing the brand's legacy of excellence, one frame at a time.
