Padang Besar: Also known as ‘Siamese Town’, the border town of Padang Besar separates Perlis from Songkhla province in Thailand.

Kuala Perlis: The second largest town in the state houses a floating mosque and the main port of Perlis.

Arau: The small and understated Arau is also the royal capital of Perlis.
